This section of the website is for students of A level history (though it’s helpful for anyone who wants to understand the modern world). Follow the links below to access modern Russian, German, Chinese, Indian, British and Cold War history. Each section is divided into topics that are included in AQA, OCR and EDEXCEL syllabuses. Each topic is covered in brief, and is designed to give students a grounding in the subject – don’t worry, we’ll be adding deeper dives into the topic areas with notes, video and audio as we develop this section.
